The Telehouse Europe Board and Executive team members between them have over 100 years of collective experience in the Colocation and Telecommunications industry. Although Telehouse is a private limited company, the board members and Executive team have adopted many best practices and accountability, often seen only in public companies; ensuring corporate and social responsibility is high on the agenda whilst always meeting stringent business targets, quarter upon quarter, year on year. Accommodating the dynamics of the fast pace technology in our world is an important responsibility and one we take very seriously as we strive to support all our customers and stakeholders who play a part in this.

Tokuji Mitsui

Tokuji Mitsui

Title: Managing Director
  


Tokuji Mitsui is the Managing Director of Telehouse Europe whose major shareholder is KDDI, the largest full-service telecommunications carrier in Japan.

 

Mr. Mitsui has gained over 30 years experience in the information and communications industry at KDDI, Telehouse’s parent company. Most recently, Mr. Mitsui held the position of general manager for the Toyota Sales Department in KDDI, overseeing network and solution sales to the Toyota Group.

 

Mr. Mitsui has gained extensive expertise in network solutions, supervising large teams throughout his career whilst working in both Japan and Germany.

 

Mr. Mitsui graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering from Waseda University, Japan.

 

Bob HarrisRobert (Bob) Harris

Position: Director (Board)
Title: Technical Services Director
Responsibility: Facilities, Operations, IT infrastructure, Building Maintenance, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Customer Support Services and Strategy


Since joining Telehouse as Operations Manager in 1989, Bob has been at the helm of several high profile projects including: the commissioning of the Docklands North building; the operation of a multi customer hot start back up dealing system; the expansion of Telehouse businesses overseas to France, Germany and Switzerland; the design and build construction of the Docklands East building in 1999; and more recently, construction of the 10 megawatt emergency generator station housed in a dedicated power support building opened in 2002.

Prior to joining Telehouse, Bob worked as Building Engineer at Lloyds of London, where he was involved in the implementation of a multi unit 400hz parallel generator installation for a network IBM 3090 water cooled computer mainframe equipment. He also acted as Technical Liaison Engineer for the reconstruction of the “Lloyds 1958 Building”. Before his role at Lloyds, Bob worked in the NHS at District Level where he was involved in the design, operation and maintenance of a diverse range of electrical and mechanical services associated with operating a District General and satellite specialist hospital units.

Bob holds a Higher National in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and a Higher National in Mechanical Engineering. His main expertise lies in power engineering and construction management and is responsible for customer service delivery and company I.T. 

 

Michelle ReidMichelle Reid

Position: Director
Title: UK Sales Director
Responsibility: Client Management, Business Development and Marketing


Since joining in 1997, Michelle has played a pivotal role in developing the Telehouse client base in the UK and France, delivering consistent growth every year for the past decade. This has involved helping to fill the company’s data centres in London Docklands, London's financial district and Paris. In 1994 when Telehouse became home to the London Internet Exchange (LINX), one of the largest Internet connection points globally, Michelle helped the company become the main hosting location for all major ISPs and hub of commercial Internet in the UK.

Prior to Telehouse, Michelle worked within a Risk Management team at Barclays Bank for seven years and in Financial Services for the Countrywide Group.
