Hub
A common connection point for devices in a network. Hubs are commonly used to connect segments of a LAN. A hub contains multiple ports. When a packet arrives at one port, it is copied to the other ports so that all segments of the LAN can see all packets.
Hypertext mark up language: HTML.
The language protocol of the Internet, enabling all computers - whether PC or Mac - anywhere in the world to share information. All documents need to be translated into HTML in order to be viewed on the Internet. There are now many packages that can do this automatically from a word processed document.
