Job overview:

We look for a talented Business Analyst to Support our Business Process Optimisation team covering multiple tasks in a dynamic environment where multiple projects are progressing in different stages. The role will work with initiative leads by supporting overall requirement capture/assessment, project delivery and operational data handling. The role will also analyse business processes requirements and data quality in collaboration with stakeholders and senior roles / subject matter experts.

Key tasks:

Project Delivery Support

  • Capture business requirements, analyse business needs/justification and develop actionable user stories in view of business objectives
  • Identify process / data gaps, perform root cause analysis of issues and define options for process improvement.
  • Drives alignment with stakeholders from problem identification through implementation and post-implementation monitoring.
  • Support multiple project delivery working closely with project leads managing overall risks and issues proactively and effectively
  • Involve in test script development based on defined requirements and acceptance criteria and lead testing working with business stakeholders
  • Support overall communications on the Process Improvement initiatives so that the objectives of new changes are fully understood by relevant stakeholders
  • Debug and identify root cause for critical issue and provide solution recommendations
  • Optimize release management to strike good balance between business goals and delivery capacity
  • Handling any issue tickets and change requests to the solutions that BPO team manages which are the early stage of the lifecycle in digital transformation

Data optimisation and analysis

  • Works with cross functional teams to ensure data availability, consistency and quality for defined business objectives and operational processes
  • Interpret defined process requirements and expected data quality
  • Identify risks and issues in overall data lifecycle and data flows and develop mitigation actions to support operational efficiency
  • Support overall data flow optimisation and continuous improvement

Essential requirements:

  • A good level of academic qualification
  • Project experience in system and technical context working in dynamic project environments
  • Experience of working in a corporate culture for at least 3 years
  • Basic understanding of implementing business solutions to improve business optimisation
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.)
  • Experience in handling of business data for reports and analysis
  • Ability to read business and operational data and analyse trend and gaps for business, process and data quality improvement
  • Ability to work effectively with multi-tasking skills across functional groups
  • Ability to document and prototype business use cases and data flows is preferred
  • Detail and project-oriented with a focus on quality and passion in the work at hand
  • Reliability, diligence and excellent organization skills with a strong attention to detail
