Job Overview:
This role is responsible managing the Delivery of Work Orders and footprint activities to achieve customer requirements to agreed SLA’s and enhance the overall customer journey and experience
Key tasks:
Facilities management:
- Develops and maintains the standards, processes, and documentation for data centres. Optimises efficiency in population of data centre space.
- Uses data centre management tools to plan, record and manage the types of infrastructure installed and the associated power, space and cooling capabilities, usage and actions to meet corporate sustainability targets.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting on Footprints and Power including Supply Chain delivery times against agreed SLA’s
- Assist with monitoring and billing works
- Any other duties reasonably associated with this position
Supplier management:
- Collects, monitors and reports on supplier performance data, customer satisfaction, and market intelligence.
- Validates that suppliers’ performance is in accordance with contract terms. Engages with suppliers to resolve incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance.
- Implements supplier management-related service improvement initiatives and programmes.
Requirements definition and management:
- Contributes to selection of the requirements approach for projects;
- Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity. Facilitates input from stakeholders, prioritises the requirements, reviews requirements.
- Processes and manages the requirements’ definition, approval and implementation in line with change management policy.
Project management:
- To define, document and carry out small projects or sub-projects. To agree project approach and prepares plans (including quality, risk and communications plans) track the progress to the completion. Manages risk, monitor costs, timescales and resources within agreed tolerances. Ensures timely closure and review.
Essential requirements:
- Construction Management or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with local specifications and supplements to each and with reading blueprints and plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent software and in Microsoft Office suite of software-Excel/Word/Outlook.
- Experience or knowledge in delivering objectives and SLA’s to agreed KPIs
- Experience of working with matrix teams
- Minimum 4 year experience in relevant working environment and position Service delivery orientated
