Service Installations Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking for an excellent Administrator within technical services, preferably within telecommunications industry, to cover our Service Installations Specialist role. We would like a dynamic and competent person to join and support our busy, vibrant Service Installations & Power Team, working full-time on -site within the Data Centre.

Key tasks:

Management Support

  • Day to day engagement with and support of the Service Installation Managers
  • To host the department review meetings, setting the agendas’, managing Trackers, creating minutes, providing status updates, etc.
  • Responsible for consolidating the Service Installations & Power Team Monthly inputs into a single deck for Month End Management performance review.
  • To manage the team’s Risk Register

Commercial Support

  • To work with Sales Admin and assisting in the coordination of RFP and RFI responses from the Service Team
  • To formulate Financial Reporting, OPEX, CAPEX, THM Recharge on all approved Purchase Orders
  • To raise Purchase Orders, ensuring GRN on received goods and manage the Invoice process and reporting on all month-end spend.
  • To manage Network Centre spend on all PO’s for Prism materials, keeping account of all Team spend in the month, liaise with Finance & Purchasing Team accordingly
  • Scheduling of Building Tours for new starters and prospective new customers, etc.

Performance reporting

  • To access SFDC monthly and produce performance reporting related to Service Installations and Power Provision for the competed months workorders, report on Team’s KPI’s and SLA performance
  • To check the Contract Lifecycle Management System on a weekly basis to understand the status of specific Customer Services and report accordingly.

Essential requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level in Technology
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Highly competent in report writing
  • Experience of working with colleagues in a busy thriving and demanding environment.
  • Working knowledge of ITSM systems ie SFDC / Remedy / SNOW
  • Able to work as part of a matrix managed team
  • Organised in prioritising workload
  • Good inter-personal communication skills
