Telecloud to exhibit at Datacentres Nice 2012

Telecloud, the newly established cloud service from Telehouse the global data centre provider and KDDI the Japanese telecommunications giant, will be exhibiting at stand B11 at Datacentres 2012 taking place on 23rd to 24th May in Nice, France.

With over 750 attendees from over 30 countries and more than 70 exhibitors, Datacentres 2012 is viewed as one of the premier events within the data storage calendar and will provide a unique opportunity to engage with a variety of vendors, industry experts and end-users from across Europe, with focus on cloud and energy topics this year.

As a silver sponsor of the event, Telehouse will be presenting two seminars in the energy and cloud theatre and showcasing the Telecloud portfolio of services on the exhibition floor.  Telehouse and KDDI have been designing and building private cloud platforms for enterprise customers in the UK hosted within the Telehouse West data centre and shared virtual data centres in France within the Magny-Les-Hameaux facility.

Lukasz Olszewski, cloud systems architect from KDDI, commented: “This is a good opportunity for enterprise companies to discover the major advantages of working with a data centre directly for cloud solutions whether it is a private cloud or a public cloud and understanding how this partnership enables businesses to realise the benefits of virtualisation on an international scale.”

In addition to the cloud presentation, Paul Sharp, Senior Facilities Manager, will be holding a session on the energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction strategy employed for Telehouse West.

Located on stand B11, Telehouse staff will be on-hand over the two-day event to discuss the Telecloud platform, demonstrating how potential customers can integrate mission-critical applications into a globally connected and highly secure resilient Cloud.
