Job Overview

We are looking for a Security Assurance & Incident Response Lead, a pivotal role in our IT team, to strengthen and maintain company’s cyber security stance and readiness.

Whilst the main focus of this role is on security assurance, governance, and incident response leadership, the successful candidate will possess sufficient technical capability to support investigations, security monitoring activities, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and major cyber incidents when required.

 

Key tasks:

  • Maintain and continually improve the Cyber Security Assurance Framework
  • Develop, review, and maintain cyber security policies, standards, procedures, and strategies in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Support internal and external audit activities and coordinate evidence gathering, based on ISO 27001
  • Act as Cyber Incident Lead during significant cyber security incidents
  • Produce security metrics, KPIs, and management reports and use the data to analyse whether the incident response activities meet the required standard
  • Lead post-incident reviews, lessons learned workshops, and root cause analysis activities
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders
  • Translate technical security risks and incident information into business-focused communications

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in a computer related subject
  • Strong experience in Cyber Security
  • Experience in critical infrastructure, telecommunications, data centre, or regulated environments (Desired)
  • Must have knowledge of the following: EDR, SIEM, NDR, applications, security architecture, IAM, PAM encryption technologies, network security, Zero Trust, secure interconnection patterns and cyber security principles
  • Strong report writing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
