DC Ops Service Planner

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide general administrative and secretarial support to the Data Centre Operations Department and support the Service Planning Specialist in planning and coordinating of all maintenance requests and management of all related processes.

System Administrator for CAFM system and provide interactive, functional reporting.

 

Main Duties, including but not limited to:

  • Oversee end to end job handling (open / close) within the agreed OLA’s and SLA’s, and request reporting from the maintenance supplier
  • Report on maintenance supplier performance within service planning
  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance provider preparation of the annual maintenance planners in cooperation with the wider DCS team
  • Coordinate all required maintenance works in line with the maintenance planning
  • Provide regular updates to assist in management of KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Prioritise maintenance requests with Service Operations
  • Produce all general correspondence and signage for Facilities Department as required
  • System Administrator for the CAFM Software System (Concept)
  • Ensure system design and control protocols are maintained and developed, for present and future additions to the System
  • Ensure continuity and compatibility between existing System modules and any future modules which may be added
  • Accurately input additional data as required and ensure the Asset Database and other base system functionality, is effectively maintained and housekeeping regimes are enforced
  • Ensure that all records are accurately, including their Security classification and that they are retained according to the Company Record Matrix

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BEng Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong skills in MS Office suite
  • Strong team member but ability to work autonomously
  • Passion for complex problem solving
  • Critical thinking, drive to find new solutions
  • Excellent communication skills including strong ability to describe complex technical concepts in non-technical language
  • Strong at information gathering and analysis
