Sector Director (Enterprise)
JOB OVERVIEW
Drive profitable growth for the sector through the development, implementation and ongoing iteration of the go-to-market strategy, in alignment with the overarching Telehouse strategy.
Role model account development and establish goals and provide leadership to those aligned to the sector from across the organisation.
Main Duties, including but not limited to:
- Develop, implement and iterate the sector growth strategy in alignment with Telehouse’s overarching strategic goals
- Oversee sector budgeting and forecasting, including a clear view of the resources required to deliver agreed growth targets and ensure an accurate sales pipeline
- Lead sector growth and service pods, aligning people from across the organisation in the delivery of sector goals
- Develop and maintain allocation of customers to Account Developers or Customer Success Managers in alignment with their value and growth potential
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a primary point of contact and ensuring a world class customer experience
- Role model account development with own account portfolio, developing and implementing account development plans for to ensure growth and profitability, including setting goals, tracking progress, and conducting performance reviews
- Conduct market research on data centre trends, competitor activities, and industry developments that could impact market and specific customer demand
- Build and maintain relationships across Telehouse and externally with key clients, partners, and regulatory bodies to shape and drive the agenda for your sector
- Track sector performance with a focus on profitable growth, identify areas for improvement, and continuously report on outlook
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ability to think strategically, shape and lead the delivery of profitable, growth-oriented business strategies, building buy-in and alignment behind them
- Deep understanding of Data Centres, the market and trends impacting it
- Ability to inspire followership, resolve conflict, influence senior leadership and hold people to account
- Broad understanding of commercial business capabilities (Marketing, Sales, Account Management Product Development and Customer Service)
