Ken sakai - EMEA Managing DIRECTOR

 

Ken Sakai joined Telehouse Europe as Managing Director in April 2017 with over 30 years’ management experience in KDDI. Ken played a pivotal role in the development of KDDI Corporation, resulting from the merger of KDD, DDI and IDO. He held leadership roles in the sales, business development and corporate planning divisions of KDDI and also served as Managing Director for KDDI Deutschland.

Ken is responsible for driving the continued expansion and growth of Telehouse Europe and positioning Telehouse to meet the future demands of businesses resulting from digital transformation and cloud adoption, using his extensive knowledge and experience of the ICT and telecommunications sectors.       

kouhei ohno-  Deputy Managing Director


Following a successful career as General Manager for KDDI Corporation, Kouhei Ohno joined Telehouse Europe in April as Deputy Managing Director. Kouhei brings over 20 years’ business development experience to Telehouse during which time he served as Financial Director for KDDI Deutschland, Business Development Manager for the Global Business Segment and General Manager responsible for the strategy and business development of the Global data centre segment.

Kouhei is responsible for the sales and marketing, technical services, business planning and optimisation and procurement functions for Telehouse.    

 

 


MASAKI WATANABE - general affairs DIRECTOR


Masaki is responsible for Legal, Health & Safety, Compliance and Staff Project - internal culture improvement project.
 
His objective is to improve business efficiencies consistently so that the company can provide excellent services to all stakeholders and customers.
 
As Board Director of Telehouse Europe, Masaki has been engaged with business process optimisation which also includes driving collaboration between Telehouse’s global businesses and KDDI group companies.
 
Since joining KDDI in 1985, Masaki has held various positions within the corporation focused on global telecommunication and data centre business development. From 1993 to 1998, Masaki helped to deliver Telehouse Europe’s first business expansion in Paris and the planning of the second London data centre - Telehouse East. After returning to KDDI headquarters in Japan, where he had continuously been engaged with global data centre development and management, Masaki joined Telehouse Europe again in 2013.
 


Andy Fisher - UK Sales Director

  • Andy Fisher joined Telehouse in July 2017 as UK Sales Director with over 20 years’ experience with technology companies, leading and coaching successful sales teams to deliver exceptional results and customer outcomes.

  • Andy holds extensive knowledge of the data centre industry following an 8 year career with Rackspace, where he held a number of sales roles including a senior management role on the corporate and enterprise sales leadership team.
  •  
  • Andy is responsible for leading the Telehouse UK channel and international sales, new business sales and account management teams.



 


Suzanne Lee - Finance Director


Since joining Telehouse in 1994, Suzanne has witnessed the growth of Telehouse from a colocation facility to one of the world’s most sought after internet hubs.  She has served in a variety of roles, having been responsible for developing the financial policies and processes at Telehouse, annual auditing and financial statements, as well as tax management, treasury and global reporting. Since 2008, Suzanne has been pivotal in the European expansion strategy, managing the acquisition of Germany’s Databurg facility and franchise expansions in Turkey, South Africa and Russia.  
 
Prior to Telehouse, Suzanne has held financial roles at PIA (acquired by FSA in 2001) supporting the regulation of 4,000 plus companies in the UK conducting investment business with private investors in the financial services market.  
 
Since 2012, Suzanne has been responsible for leading the procurement strategy for Telehouse Europe and has implemented an environmentally friendly electricity usage strategy.  

 


Fay Thompson - human resources DIRECTOR


Fay is Telehouse’s Human Resources Director responsible for leading the strategic HR initiatives, the day-to-day delivery of core HR services and driving the people agenda.  She is a member of Telehouse’s Executive Team and reports to MD Hiroyuki Soshi.

Before joining Telehouse in May 2016, Fay held a number of senior HR positions with technology companies such as Vodafone, Sony Europe, O2, Symbian and Cable & Wireless. 
She is a highly experienced, senior international HR professional with a proven track record partnering companies to deliver strategic and operational HR and organisational change.  Her work has provided sustainable value to organisations.

Fay holds a CIPD Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel and Development and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD).

 

STEEVE WEETMAN - EUROPEAN PROCUREMENT DIRECTOR


Steve joined Telehouse Europe in May 2017 in the new role of European Procurement Director for Telehouse and KDDI Europe. Steve is responsible for leading the Procurement function across Europe including strategy, operational support and driving European commercial competitiveness.

Steve’s early career has given him broad experience in operational management roles. He switched to a career in procurement in 2003 and has worked in a variety of roles for Ministry of Defence, Serco and latterly CBRE. This included Global Procurement Director for Data Centre Solutions, where he worked extensively in Europe and the US. 

Steve is committed to collaborative working with the Telehouse/KDDI business and our supply partners to deliver great service and bring real value for our customers.  Steve holds MSc in Defence Acquisition from Cranfield University and MA from Kings College London.

 

SACHI FUJII - BUSINESS OPTIMISATION DIRECTOR


Sachi joined Telehouse in 2013 and has played leadership roles in corporate level change programmes. In her current role, Sachi leads strategic and operational performance improvement initiatives working closely with Executive Members across Europe.

Prior to Telehouse, Sachi has been in charge of multi-functional roles from strategic to operational scope, driving company’s performance to its optimal level across multiple industries. Sachi has delivered tangible business results through strategic and transformational programmes for over 20 years to blue chip companies globally including GSK, HP, Vodafone, O2, Goodyear, Nomura, Mondi, SchlumbergerSema, Atos KPMG and Cap Gemini. Early in her carrier Sachi worked for Oki in Japan and Europe for over 10 years as corporate planning officer where she played a vital role in setting up the hub of its European operations and R & D centre in Scotland.

Sachi holds MBA from Cranfield University in the UK and BA in linguistics from Waseda University in Japan.
