All Telehouse facilities operate computerised building management systems that monitor and remotely operate sensors covering electrical, mechanical, fire detection and water leakage systems. 24x7 expert technical support is provided by Telehouse's own in-house engineering team.

Reliable power supplies and cooling are essential to the continuous operation of colocation equipment that is expected by our customers. Telehouse Europe has a sophisticated power distribution system for resilience whereby multiple mains electricity feeds are supported by UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems and back-up generators. Power and cooling resilience is provided from N+1 upwards to 2N+1. All of our power back-up systems are individually maintained and checked on a routine basis.

The highest level of building security is provided 24/7 by our trained security and operations staff, CCTV with digital data storage space, electronic access management as well as our advanced proximity access control system.
Access
Security involves preventing unauthorised entry. We understand that we have to balance this with our customers’ need to access and control their equipment, however, our security is never compromised. Proximity cards control access on all Telehouse Europe sites and these are programmed to allow access only to the required and appropriate areas. Only authorised personnel are granted access to the facility.
Docklands Security Desk
Access is allowed 24/7 to legitimate customers. Our security staff monitor all access to our sites and historical data is recorded and audit trails can be provided upon request.
