The ‘centre of excellence’ is a state-of-the-art administration building designed to boost employee experience and service delivery

 

London, UK – 21ST April 2026 – Telehouse International Corporation of Europe, a leading global data centre service provider, has opened Telehouse Central, its new administration building, at its London Docklands data centre campus.

The facility, delivered by international construction firm Flynn, spans 3,443 square metres of floor space across 6 floors. It will bring key operational teams together in one hub within Europe’s most connected data centre ecosystem, accelerating response times and improving the overall experience for clients and Docklands-based employees.

Telehouse Central consolidates building management, security control and the Service Desk into a unified control centre, enabling rapid, streamlined communication during both routine and critical events. The building features premium office space for operations teams, including collaborative zones, dedicated meeting rooms and modern welfare amenities. A new cafeteria provides a welcoming environment that encourages social interaction and downtime.

By consolidating delivery support functions into a single streamlined space, the new facility fosters improved coordination, decision making and customer service excellence.

Sustainability has been integral to the design. Telehouse Central was designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent criteria, reflecting Telehouse’s commitments to responsible operations and environmental performance. The building incorporates air source heat pumps to provide efficient heating, a warm roof system combining brown roof landscaping to enhance biodiversity and blue roof for rainwater attenuation, as well as a photovoltaic panel array to generate renewable energy. Smart lighting controls further contribute to energy efficiency and promote sustainable behaviours across the campus.
