Reaping the Benefits at Telehouse

Owning and operating one of the fastest and most reliable backbone networks for carrying Internet traffic, Mistral needed to guarantee that their mission critical business operations were located in the best facility possible.
A Cut Above The Rest
To maintain its edge Mistral selected Telehouse as the colocation facility of choice. "When looking for a colocation facility to house our mission critical business operations we did not look any further than Telehouse. For Mistral, locating to a colocation centre was key to its core business operations. The proximity of Telehouse to the London Internet Exchange (LINX) was instrumental to our decision to locate to the Telehouse Docklands facility. With our head office located in Brighton we needed a facility that could offer us the use of meeting rooms to conduct strategic business development initiatives while in London,” says Karl Robinson.

While it is clear from a technical and geographic perspective why Mistral decided to locate to Telehouse, there are additional benefits that have evolved through the close relationship that has developed between both companies. “Locating to their London Docklands facility three years ago has proven to be a very strategic decision for Mistral. Not only have Telehouse provided us with the key features that you expect from a colocation centre, it has also brought additional value to us through marketing efforts and unexpected sales leads. Being able to tell customers our equipment is colocated at Telehouse Europe is a big advantage for us. Our customers know Telehouse is synonymous with security and this provides us with a competitive edge when marketing our wide range of services,” comments Katherine McClure, Marketing Manager, Mistral.
Last year Mistral experienced a two-fold increase in turnover and expects to repeat that feat yet again this year. “We are expanding our business at a phenomenal rate and are pleased to know that Telehouse can accommodate our rate of growth. At present we have twenty dedicated suites and plan to take out more as the need arises. When calculating the benefits that have emerged from our relationship with Telehouse it is clear that they have far outweighed our expectations of a colocation centre,” concludes Katherine McClure.
