New Managing Director Mark Pestridge to prioritise culture, collaboration, and delivering exceptional service for customers in an increasingly complex digital landscape
London, UK – 27th April 2026 – Telehouse International Corporation of Europe, a leading global data centre service provider, has announced key changes to its senior leadership team, reinforcing its focus on people, customer experience and sustainable business growth.
Mark Pestridge has been appointed Managing Director of Telehouse Europe, with Paul Lewis succeeding him as Executive Vice President and General Manager.
Pestridge brings more than 20 years of experience in the data centre and service provider industry. Most recently, as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Pestridge served on the board of directors, providing strategic leadership and overseeing operations.
Lewis previously served as Senior Vice President and Leader of Technical Services, where he held board level responsibility for strategy and operations. He has extensive experience leading Telehouse’s operational, construction and design functions.
Pestridge succeeds Kenkichi Honda as Managing Director of Telehouse Europe, with Honda becoming Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of KDDI Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of KDDI Corporation a leading Japanese telecommunications provider and the parent company of Telehouse.
“I’m passionate about making Telehouse a great place to work, where people can collaborate, thrive and achieve great things together,” said Pestridge. “When we create that kind of environment, it naturally translates into a better experience for our customers and stronger outcomes for the business.
As demand for digital infrastructure continues to grow, every connection matters. We have a responsibility to deliver that in a way that is efficient, responsible and built for the future.”
Pestridge and Lewis have both played key roles in the continued expansion of Europe’s most connected data centre campus, Telehouse’s London Docklands site. This includes the launch of Telehouse South and the ongoing addition of new floors and capacity across the campus. The recently announced £275 million Telehouse West Two development further positions the business to support growing and increasingly complex customer demand.
Together, they have strengthened Telehouse’s focus on its carrier-neutral customer base while expanding its enterprise offering to support organisations with increasingly complex digital infrastructure requirements.
As part of the leadership changes, Takayo Takamuro, former European Bloc Chief for KDDI Europe, has returned to Japan to take up a new role focused on the government and financial sectors.
Kenkichi Honda, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of KDDI Europe, said: “Mark and Paul bring a strong combination of leadership, operational expertise and customer focus. Together, they are well positioned to build on Telehouse Europe’s success, supporting customers with increasingly complex infrastructure needs while continuing to grow the business in an efficient and responsible way.”
