Business Development Executive

Job Overview:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for making outbound calls to generate new leads and opportunities and receiving and managing inbound enquiries from customers and prospects and oversee and develop relationships with existing accounts. They will maintain records of calls made and received, detail the next steps and their results using Salesforce CRM.
Key tasks
- To use and develop the telephone scripts to generate enquiries and organise appointments with customers and prospects for our Sales team
- To communicate with customers and prospects via cold calling, warm calling and email marketing
- To provide support to Sales department with overseeing allocated existing accounts and mentorship of Account Director
- To promote our services and communicating activities and events to encourage participation
- To accurately record the results of all communications
- To update our customer and prospect records within our CRM system
- To participate in regular sales and marketing meetings
- List cleansing and building
- Answering inbound calls from customers and enquiries from existing and prospective customers
- Maintaining contact with customers to maintain, develop and build customer satisfaction
- To help to develop innovative telemarketing scripts to engage and stimulate interest in our services and activities
- To achieve all call, appointment, and lead targets
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in either telemarketing or telesales
- A track record of over-achieving against targets and KPIs.
- Experience of using CRM systems and in particular SFDC
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong persuasion and negotiations skills
- A confident and articulate telephone manner
- Results oriented and focussed
- Good planning, organisation and effective time management skills
